Welcome to Camp Beausite Northwest
Camp Beausite NW is a place where everyone has the opportunity to be all they can be. We currently provide five week-long overnight summer camp sessions for 100 adults and children with special needs. We have also expanded our program offerings to include 6-8 week-end camps throughout the year with various themes. And, we are offering two 6 week long (1 day per week) Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies sessions for Veterans. Be sure to follow our Facebook page for the latest updates and pics! We also rent the camp out to the public for lodging, workshops, retreats, and other types of gatherings.
Our camp is a magical getaway nestled within 55 acres of forest and meadowland overlooking Beausite Lake. This Olympic Peninsula camp offers a peaceful and serene environment sure to enchant campers, families, and lodge renters. Our camp, readily accessible by highway or ferry, is only twelve miles from the picturesque seaport of Port Townsend, Wa., 40 minutes from Bainbridge Island, and an hour drive from Port Angeles. No matter where you are journeying from, your loved ones are never too far away.
Please note: While our main lodge building is undergoing renovation, Camp Beausite is not available for rent from now through March 2019.
Online registration for Summer Camp 2019 will open mid-January.
Note from the Executive Director:
The exciting times keep on rolling for Camp Beausite!!! Our brand new bunkhouses were completed on June 2nd just in time for Camp Season 2017. We are currently finalizing designs for the complete remodel of our lodge.
With the completion of our bunkhouses we can provide camp year round for up to 40 at a time, increasing the number of those we serve in the summer, and making it possible to offer additional camps throughout the year for more diverse populations.
With the completion of our lodge remodel we will have a year round facility where our campers can eat, play, and meet indoors for the first time in 28 years, and an ideal facility for the public to rent for various activities such as workshops, seminars, family reunions, meetings, etc.
We welcome all, who would like to help support Camp Beausite in its efforts to help improve the quality of life for people with special needs. All donations are greatly appreciated! See our donation page.

Note from the Board President:
Camp Beausite has been providing wonderful and meaningful experiences for adults and children with special needs for over 20 years. A devoted cadre of staff and volunteers have made this possible.
We are now in a five year program of major physical improvements. These improvements are making year round programs at the camp possible. And, being able to be a year round facility allows us to add programs to our already successful summer activities.
More than ever we will rely on and need to expand our volunteer base. It's a very exciting time at Camp Beausite NW!
