Your Team’s Private Retreat on the Olympic Peninsula
Camp Beausite Northwest is a 55-acre lakeside retreat center on the Olympic Peninsula — available for exclusive, private use by your team. When you book here, you get the entire property: the lodge, the bunkhouses, the commercial kitchen, the lake, the trails, and the fire circle. No other groups. No shared spaces. No distractions.
Located just two hours from Seattle by car or ferry, Camp Beausite NW gives your team the kind of focused, off-grid environment that conference hotels simply cannot replicate — without a cross-country flight to get there.
Why Teams Choose Camp Beausite
Most off-site venues offer a conference room with a view. We offer something fundamentally different: an entire private campus where your team can work, eat, and recharge together — with no lobby traffic, no competing events, and no checkout deadlines cutting your sessions short.
Here’s what makes our retreat center work for business groups:
Exclusive private use — Your group is the only group on the property. Period.
Lodging for up to 60 — The lodge sleeps 20 across 6 bedrooms (twin and bunk beds, memory foam mattresses). Four bunkhouses sleep an additional 40 (10 per bunkhouse).
Two dedicated meeting spaces — The Great Room upstairs accommodates up to 59 people. A smaller downstairs meeting area seats up to 20 for breakout sessions and focused work.
Commercial kitchen — A fully equipped commercial kitchen is available for your caterer or team to use. Outside catering is welcome.
A/V and connectivity — The lodge includes a 55-inch flat screen TV. Wi-Fi is available on the property.
Indoor comfort — Air conditioning and a floor-to-ceiling gas fireplace keep the lodge comfortable year-round.

The Property
Camp Beausite Northwest sits on the shores of Beausite Lake, surrounded on all sides by forest. The property includes:
— 55 acres of forest, meadowland, and maintained lawn
— A private lake view
— Five acres of open lawn for outdoor activities and team exercises
— Walking trails that connect to the Jefferson County trail system
— 20 picnic tables and a covered outdoor dining area
— A fire circle for evening gatherings
— A bathhouse with private showers and restrooms
The setting is secluded enough to feel like an escape — but civilized enough that Port Townsend is only 12 miles away for dinner, errands, or sightseeing. Bainbridge Island is 40 minutes. Port Angeles is an hour.

What This Looks Like for Your Team
Company Offsites & Strategic Planning
Bring your leadership team or department for a focused 2–3 day working session. Use the Great Room for all-hands presentations, break into the downstairs meeting area for small-group work, and use the trails and lake for the informal conversations where the real decisions get made.
Team Building & Culture Retreats
Step away from the office and into an environment built for connection. Cook meals together in the commercial kitchen, gather around the fire circle, and use the full property for outdoor team challenges. The lakefront, trails, and open lawn give you options no hotel ballroom can match.
Board Retreats & Nonprofit Planning
Nonprofit boards and advisory groups get the benefit of a distraction-free environment at a fraction of the cost of resort venues. Camp Beausite NW is itself a nonprofit organization — we understand the budget realities of mission-driven work.
Creative & Leadership Retreats
Writers’ groups, design teams, and leadership cohorts benefit from the combination of private workspace and natural surroundings. The change of environment sparks the kind of thinking that doesn’t happen in your regular office.
