Camp Beausite NW is an AWESOME inclusive place where ALL people have the opportunity to maximize their potential! A place where one can learn and grow, meet new friends, try new things, and just have FUN.

Camp Beausite, which he first attended over 10 years ago, is Daniel’s happy place. Largely nonverbal, he has not told us with his words how much he loves camp, but we can see the joy on his face when we mention camp and the eagerness with which he has been known to place items in a suitcase when he knows we are getting ready to take him to camp. We feel a great debt of gratitude to the many who make camp happen by generously giving of their resources and time, some behind the scenes and some in very hands-on kinds of ways. Time at camp not only provides campers with a wonderful, memorable experience, it also gives parents and caregivers worry-free respite time.

CBNW continues to work with the American Camp Association, CDC, and local and state health departments to make decisions about how we can safely offer programs. We are committed to making sure there are plenty of camp and respite opportunities, as well as keeping everyone (staff and campers) as safe and healthy as possible. 80% of all staff and volunteers are mandated by the state to be vaccinated. Also, if your camper is demonstrating any signs of COVID, please have them take a rapid antigen test and isolate prior to coming to camp.

Summer Camps

amp Beausite Northwest believes that everyone should be able to have the Camp Experience and we can’t wait to share that with you! We provide fun-filled, week-long summer camp sessions.

We do everything in our power to create a camp experience for anyone who wants it. We bring in counselors from around the country, as well as internationally, to give our campers the level of support that they need and deserve. We do our best to accommodate your first choice request for your schedule – but do please be aware that we need to place our campers in our sessions based on a great many things and we appreciate your understanding and flexibility. Registration confirmation may take up to 15 business days from your registration submission.

CBNW is excited to announce that we are extending our camp program schedule. Summer camp programs will begin with check-in on Monday at 4pm and will conclude on Saturday with check-out at 10:30am. CBNW will provide round-the-clock care and supervision, nursing care, tons of activities, and the best programming around! There is so much to do at camp and we hope you will check out the Camp Activities page to familiarize yourself with all of the different things that go on at camp, as well as a sample camp schedule!

Our week-long summer camp programs are designed for campers 7–99+. Our summer programs are open to all levels of care needs for our campers. We highly encourage families and guardians to register as early as possible for campers that need true 1:1 care or who are in a wheelchair, as each week has limited spaces for accommodations. Summer camp programs are $1,600–$2,200 and are eligible for respite funding.

We will dress up in costumes for every dinner and most of our camp activities will have extra flare and fun wrapped around our camp theme for the week. Weekend Camps

e provide super fun weekend camp programs throughout the spring and the fall. Our weekend programs are the perfect getaway for our campers and a great opportunity to try out a camp program, especially if being away from home is a new experience. CBNW typically holds eight weekend camp programs each year; four in the spring and four in the fall.

Weekend programs are currently geared towards campers who need 1:3 and 1:4 camper-to-staff care ratios and are mostly independent with their ADL’s. Weekend staff are true warriors dedicated to the mission of Camp Beausite in providing excellent care and support for our campers while simultaneously providing respite for our families. Weekend staff come from various places nearby, all hold full-time employment elsewhere and give of their time to come spend a weekend at Camp. We could not run these weekends without the amazing staff and because they are considered seasonal, our ability to support higher needs varies. Please know that we do everything we can to accommodate all our campers whenever possible. If you have a camper with 1:1 or 1:2 care needs, please contact the camp office at (360) 732-7222 to inquire about possible availability.

We support camper ages from 9–99+ for our weekend camps and love having all ages at camp. We do everything in our power to create a camp experience for anyone who wants it. Registration confirmation may take up to 30 days from your registration submission as we are always working hard to ensure proper staffing and the right fit for our cabin bunking for all of our campers.

Weekend programs will begin with check-in on Friday at 6pm and will conclude on Sunday with check-out at 3pm.

We highly encourage families and guardians to register as early as possible as each weekend camp program fills up quickly. Weekend camp programs are $700 and are eligible for respite funding.

Life Skills sessions:  These four sessions are intended to build on each other, though they can be attended individually. Each weekend has its own focus: Creating and building friendships, Empowerment and self-advocacy, All things communication, and Employee skills.

All of Us:  Hail, hail, the gang’s all here! We created this weekend so that everyone in a camper’s family can come and see what makes Camp Beausite great! Come experience archery, campfires, nature walks, crafts, share a talent at the talent show, or giant lawn games. Your definition of Family is whatever it means to you: parents, aunts/uncles, older siblings, best friend, etc. **Adults are responsible for the care and supervision of their campers.
